team bios Andrew Sim

Bernice Liuson Sim Kevin Anderton In a moment of lunacy, Bernice thought it would be a good idea to make a movie about Larry Stark and about Boston's theater scene. Unfortunately, no one around her talked her out of it so now, this local theater and film actor finds herself deep in the insanity of film production with no ruby slippers to bring her back to Kansas. Seriously, Bernice is proud to be part of this community, honored to be working with so many amazing people, and excited to have this opportunity to show Boston's theater scene off to the world. Andrew Sim has been a strong supporter of the arts since moving to Boston back in 2000. He’s been actively involved with local access television as well as co-producing underground film’s On Demand Film Festival winner, Mask of the Ninja. He’s proud to bring his technical know-how to the team. Kevin Anderton, founder of Midnight Chimes Productions, brings strong experience as co-producer to the project. Kevin has produced and directed over 40 short films in Boston. Kevin has also worked as the assistant production manager for the IMAX documentary, Kilimanjaro: To The Roof of Africa. He is a avid supporter of filmmaking in Boston, organizing Boston Film Night and promoting many other local industry events. Carlton SooHoo Iga Mikler Barry Andelman Iga Mikler obtained her BA and MA in cinematography at a renowned film school in Katowice, Poland. She was born in Poland, raised in Sweden, and now resides in Boston giving her a unique multicultural perspective. She has written, produced, shot, edited and served as Director of Photography on over a dozen films and music videos shot in both Europe and US, including the Mlodzi I Film Festival winner The Road to Happiness. She is currently a member of the Raw Art Works staff in Lynn, assisting with the digital film school program. Carlton SooHoo is the principal photographer at Panospin Studios, a virtual reality imaging studio that creates scenes and objects that rotate in 360-degrees. These immersive and interactive photographs enable viewers to feel as if they were "actually there" on location. Carlton hopes that by hanging around cool film producers and actors, he will learn how to act like a producer and maybe even make a documentary someday. Barry Andelman is proud to be part of this team as The Interviewer. His family hails from Boston, spanning six generations. He was first taken to theatre, at age six,
by his Aunt Blanche, and he's been hooked ever since. A self-professed "theatreholic," he attends about 200 plays a year--all in the Boston area, and that number does NOT include the 50 of the Boston Theatre Marathon, which he also attends "religiously". He has no TV, since he has no time to watch, preferring to spend his free time attending live theatre. Stephen Gaun Sonia Maslovskaya Sonia Maslovskaya has had strong connections with the arts since her early childhood. A classically trained pianist, guitarist, painter and actor, she left her native Russia in 2001 and moved to Boston. She actively participates in and supports local theatre, alternative music and performance art. Stephen Gaun has worked on twenty short films for Midnight Chimes Productions in capacities ranging from production assistant to production manager. He has also served as producer for the Boston Comedy Shorts Collection DVD and has provided invaluable marketing, promotional, and organizational input throughout the process.
